This is what Anna shared when we asked her about why it is so important to make a social impact with her work:

“It has always made sense to me and has been part of my DNA since I was a child, especially social justice.”

As you listen to Anna’s story you get an insight into the broad concept of sustainability within the fashion industry and what role traceability and change management play in this discussion.

“Traceability is Visibility”

Role that social media plays in sustainability

Anna gives us an insight on what it’s like working in this industry with real life examples from personal experience. We learn more about how complex the supply chain really is and what issues can arise with production of material.

This episode also features a special segment in which Anna takes questions posed by youth regarding the supply chain, the fast fashion industry and the role that social media plays in sustainability within the context of today’s generation.

“I always had the idea and I always had a kind of conviction that I wanted to work with people and I wanted to work with the empowerment of people, which is why nowadays I focus a lot on the empowerment of the people that are actually doing the work within different companies.”

Throughout the conversation you get the chance to not only learn how vital her role is, but we also hear her opinions that may change what you think about the garment industry.
